Hi, I'm Nicki! My story is a testimony of how God can take your passion and make it your purpose. I've always been interested in health and wellness, which is what led me to became a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Several years after moving our family to Hot Springs, Brandon and I opened New Hope Therapy in 2018, and have watched it grow and improve the everyday lives of so many people. Hot Springs has become our home, and when you love a place, you want to make it better.
As the devastation from the pandemic in 2020 became more widespread and began to impact our local communities, families and businesses, we saw the need for a focused outreach on health and wellness. Our dear friends, Cindy and Steven Young, saw our love for helping others and my perseverance to push through difficult circumstances, and made the decision to bless us with this 501(c)(3) gift, now called Anchored619. The Youngs started this nonprofit in the Little Rock area in 2011, previously known as All Children’s Academy. They came to us with a desire to see their legacy continue in the community of Hot Springs and for God’s vision to transpire through what they once started.
Since 2020, God has been working through relationships, partnerships and visions in so many people of this community in support of Anchored619. Through God's provision, we have seen Anchored619 grow from a tiny seed of faith into a healthy non-profit organization led by passionate individuals who love to serve our local community. We are able to extend health and wellness resources for all ages in academic and educational settings, provide respite care for special-needs families, create nature-based environments for our community, and offer networking opportunities and resources for our medical industry! We have an unwavering Governing Board of Directors leading 4 well-founded programs with Directors and supporting Program Associations that help guide the vision and opportunities for Anchored619 to pour back into the community in a powerful way.
I feel blessed and honored to have this opportunity to rally with other professionals, businesses, organizations and community stakeholders. We are always stronger together and a unified community is an incredible tool to advocate for the health and wellness of our children, adolescents, families and elderly.
I am excited to see where God’s path takes us in the years to come!
